Buenos Aires, 8 a.m.
The city is slowly waking up. We are waiting in front of the hotel (check-in time is at 12..) and eating delicious empanadas.
The first two days we spend in Buenos Aires are holidays so we get a completely wrong first impression of Argentina’s capital city: almost no traffic, few people on the streets, relaxed… In fact Buenos Aires is a huge and lively city, traffic is dense and the streets are filled with people, street vendors, the smell of asados, and, at that time still, the words “cambio, cambio. Cambio dólares”.
